Although we are not using with pupils we selected the IO Pen because it supports thinking sills and problem solving. It allows easy non linear recording of meetings and discussions, which can then easily be shared via email, memory stick or disc.
As writing with the hand is one of the most natural actions, the Logitech io Digital Pen has all the potential of a technology which for many, will be instantly accessible. The ability to write, add diagrams, label and connect text and pictures with lines and arrows and then send directly to a computer offers, not only electronic copy at great speed, but the opportunity for annotation, assessment and redrafting, sharing and developing ideas. For staff and pupils to work within a variety of written formats, the chance to send to an electronic whiteboard for discussion and to turn handwriting into electronic text documents, offers the flexibility that is needed in a busy classroom.
