Description
The Sanyo Xacti HD1000 offers incredibly sharp true high-definition digital video and good resolution still image capture within a very easy to use and compact form factor, making it ideal for use by both students and teachers. The camera also includes a large and bright wide aspect preview screen (2.7 inch Organic Light Emiting Diode), 10x optical zoom, automatic pop-up flash, internal stereo microphone, external microphone port, as well as a range of on-camera visual effects, including black & white and sepia toning for captured still images and video.

- Record high quality video and sound at 1920x1080 pixels in high-definition mode at a smooth 30 frames per second (640x480 at 60 fps in standard definition mode), in MPEG 4 file format.
- Capture still images at up to 4 Mega Pixels in standard JPEG file format.
- Expandable memory via Secure Digital memory cards (2GB card supplied, giving up to 21 minutes of true high-definition video capture)
- 10x optical zoom auto focus lens (equivalent to 38 - 380mm on a 35mm camera) with Macro facility for close up photography, and built-in image stabilisation.
