TAG is now showcasing the latest version of MAPS, its award winning and leading online eportfolio system for schools. MAPS version 2 will be featured on the TAG stand (B56), demonstrating new features such as the QTI standards based Quiz suite of tools and Discussion Forums, plus a brand new interface for KS1.

New Features

TAG Learning is pleased to announce the official launch of version 2 of MAPS (Managed Assessment Portfolio System), the BETT award winning online e-portfolio tool to manage students' work (www.mapseportfolio.com). New features included in Version 2:

  • New simplified interface option for KS1 and SEN.
  • Speak and click: optional speaking buttons provide audio descriptions of functions using real voices for KS1 and SEN.
  • Expanded range of KS1 end of unit tasks for ICT to complement existing bank of KS2 and KS3 content.
  • Pupils workspace area to create and/or prepare for projects in all subjects (no matter whether they are assessed via MAPS).
  • Import and play SCORM 2004 compliant content
  • Create and import standards-based quizzes with automated marking.
  • Optional discussion forums built around assessment tasks.

These new features provide a wealth of exciting tools to motivate students, as well as to promote good practice.

Demonstrated daily on the stand at BETT, including presentations in the theatre area, TAG will show how MAPS is already providing over 58,000 pupils in England with their own personalised work space and as such how both students and teachers can benefit from using MAPS.
