Bringing the wildlife to BETT 2008

Building on its range of successful digital video cameras for education, at BETT 2008, TAG Learning Ltd. ("TAG") will be showcasing its new range of wildlife cameras. The stars of the show will be the Nest Box and Mini Bird Table camera kits , featured on the TAG stand (B56).

TAG Learning is pleased to announce the addition of a range of innovative wildlife cameras, by Gardenature, a leading manufacturer of wildlife camera products. This unique range provides pupils with a 'live' view of the processes involved in rearing young and gives insight into the feeding habits of animals.

ReacTickles is highly motivating and have been shown to help children develop concentration and attention skills, as well as encouraging sharing and imaginative play. Overall impact includes reducing anxiety levels in general and has great social potential.

  • Kits available:
    • Nesting Box Camera Kit supplied with different sized entry hole plates, to make it suitable for most species of garden birds. Includes 2 x metal hole protector plates (28mm and 32mm diameter) to help deter squirrels and other predators.

  • All kits include an integrated high-quality weather proof mini video camera - choice of b/w or colour. Unique camera drawer allows the camera to be slid in and out with ease, and thus can be shared amongst the different kits.
  • Optional built-in infrared illumination enabling viewing in all light conditions.
  • Camera includes an integral microphone to enable pupils to hear as well as see what is going on in the next box.
  • Camera also features a user adjustable focus lens, to enable sharp images to be captured.
  • Kit supplied complete with 30m of professional RCA video/audio/power cable, RCA to USB adapter, 12v regulated mains power adapter, box fixing kit and instructions.
  • Connect camera either directly to a TV or data projector via the RCA connections, or via the USB adapter to a computer.
  • Only sustainable sources are used in the manufacture of these products to protect the environment.
