The TAG USB microscope was one of the resources and activities featured during the Science Museum’s first ever Teachers’ Lates event on 13 October.  Building on the success of the Science Museum’s Lates programme for adults, this was an exclusive evening of edu-tainment for teachers and a chance for them to explore the museum without any students in the way!  Teachers took in a science show, made mousetrap drag racers to take-away, and visited the world famous Launchpad gallery amongst other activities.  Almost 600 teachers attended this inspiring event which has led to great interest in Science Museum teachers’ courses, resources, visits and products.  Find out more about what the Science Museum has to offer for teachers in the museum and in the classroom: Science Museum - Educators

Karen Davies, Head of Museums Learning Resources from the Science Museum said: "At the Science Museum, we support teachers to talk science with their students. Products like the TAG USB microscope support this by enabling teachers to run inspiring and engaging activities that spark discussion about real world science.  We are delighted to be able to approve this and the Science Activity Builder software, for which we have written teachers’ notes supporting science talk, and look forward to working with TAG in the future."
