Problem: When I try to run Zoombinis; I get an error message Unable to set video mode.

»Description of Solution

Solution: This is caused because you have the old version of Zoombinis which only supports 256 colours. There is an upgrade of the software available which will support 16 bit colour; or higher. You can rectify this error by either specifying to run the software in 256 colours in the Program Compatibility Wizard (Windows XP); or but setting your colour depth on your machine to 256 colours.
