»Summary of Problem

Problem: When attempting to start Zoombinis™ Logical Journey™ 2.0; the following message appears: "ZOOMBINIS LOGICAL JOURNEY caused an invalid page fault in module MSS32.DLL @ 0167…." This issue typically occurs when nothing is selected in the Multimedia Control Panel for MIDI output-Single Instrument. Selecting a compatible MIDI output device; updating the sound card driver or both will help to identify the source of this issue. »Description of Solution

Solution: Selecting a MIDI Output Device ~p Close all programs and windows. ~p Click Start; select Settings and click Control Panel. The Control Panel will open. ~p Double-click the Multimedia icon. The Multimedia Properties will open. ~p Click the MIDI tab. ~p Under the MIDI output section; select Single Instrument and click once on the first instrument listed. ~p Click Apply and click OK. ~p Close the Control Panel. ~p Click Start and click Shut Down. ~p Choose the option to restart and click OK (or Yes). The system will shut down and restart. ~p When the system has restarted; insert the Zoombinis™ Logical Journey™ CD into the CD drive and launch the program
