The National Schools Film & Animation Award

Building on the success of several regional Digital Movie Creator film awards organised by a number of Local Authorities, TAG Learning will be hosting a new national award to celebrate the work that pupils are doing in the classroom using digital video.

Floellabenjamin_medium

"This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to broaden their creativity and encourage communication and collaboration through film and animation making. The work done so far by the Local Authorities with the regional awards is clear evidence of these benefits. I am particularly enamoured by how the use of film and animation making can re-engage reluctant learners and provide a platform to include children of all abilities."
Floella Benjamin OBE, the respected actress & broadcaster who will chair the judging panel for the National Schools Film & Animation Awards.

Pupils and teachers from the shortlisted schools will be invited to a National Awards Ceremony where national winners and runners up will be announced.
